Crossiron Mills is actually located in a small town, Balzac, Rocky View County just north of the City of Calgary along QE II Highway (AKA Highway 2/Deerfoot Trail). Crossiron is the largest mall in the area currently sits at 674 acres of land, the mall is 1.4 million square feet with big box stores and gears towards the outlet style stores with typically larger discounts. It is located 7.5km from the Calgary International Airport, and about 23km from City Centre. 40+ food establishments. Century Downs Racetrack & Casino, Costco, Lowes, and New Horizon Mall (Multicultural Mall) located nearby. Cross Iron Mills receives over 9.4 million visitors a year, where the biggest time for traffic is during Stampede, Summer and Christmas Holiday Season.
