Brentwood is a neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, near the following roads: John Laurie Boulevard, Crowchild Trail, Shaganappi Trail and Nose Hill Park. Brentwood is adjacent to the University of Calgary, this community is popular for investors. Green space/walkways, Brentwood/University C-Train, Brentwood Village Shopping Centre also are conveniently accessed in this community: Co-op, Safeway, Jamesons Pub, Kilkenny Irish Pub, Bed Bath & Beyond, BMO Bank of Montreal, TD Canada Trust, London Drugs, Liquor Depot, Sleep Country, Anytime Fitness, Canada Post, Medical and Dental. University City Condos is a new condominium development in the area. Other nearby amenities include Nosehill Library and Northland Village Mall.
Accessibility to and from Brentwood is easy. Not only are the roads not congested upgrades to Crowchild Trail will allow easy access to the Downtown core from any community in the NW. Brentwood, University and Dalhousie C-Train stations are only a short ride directly into the downtown core.
Brentwood is also a great community for investors. Every year, students that attend the University of Calgary will have plenty of off-campus options in Brentwood that are within biking and walking distance.
The well-rounded community is close to a number K-12 schools: Captain John Palliser School (K-6), Sir Winston Churchill (10-12) High School, Simon Fraser School (5-9), Dr. E.W. Coffin School (K-6). Nearby Catholic Schools: St. Jean Brebeuf School (7-9), St. Luke School (K-6 in Charleswood), St. Dominic School (K-6 in Dalhousie).
